Business Fibre Essential is better when you mainly need a lower-cost remote-managed fibre plan and are comfortable handling more of the onsite setup yourself.
Business Fibre Essential starts from $119/month and Business Fibre Premium starts from $169/month. Final pricing depends on the fibre network at your address, available speed profile, contract term, setup option, travel, router/network requirements, Wi-Fi, voice, security and backup connectivity.
Essential is a remote-managed business fibre option with standard support and optional static IP. Premium is designed for businesses that need a more complete service, with onsite professional setup from $199, static IP included, business-grade router setup, priority support and Full Service Warranty.
A static IP is useful for VPNs, remote access, some cloud systems, security cameras, servers, port forwards and advanced routing. It is optional on Business Fibre Essential and included with Business Fibre Premium.
Yes. Business Fibre Premium can include professional setup, router configuration, Wi-Fi setup, testing and handover. For structured offices, UBB can help with patched data ports, port labelling, managed Wi-Fi and a more complete network design.
Fibre is the main connection, but critical systems should also have backup connectivity. UBB can add automatic 4G/5G, wireless, Starlink or multi-carrier failover so EFTPOS, VoIP phones, cloud apps and remote access have a better chance of staying online during an outage.
