If your using a Mikrotik router with your Ultimate Broadband (UBB) broadband connection, Follow these steps to set up your voicemail and record a temporary greeting on your phone.

Step 1: Dial into Voicemail

 

  1. *Dial 55 on your phone.
  2. Listen to Any New Messages: If you have any new messages, listen to them first.

 

Step 2: Access Voicemail Greeting Settings

 

  1. Press ‘0’: After listening to your new messages, press ‘0’ to access the voicemail greeting settings.

 

Step 3: Set Up a Temporary Greeting

 

  1. Press ‘4’: To set up a temporary greeting, press ‘4’. (Ignore other options for “busy” messages or other types of greetings.)

 

Step 4: Record Your Greeting

 

  1. Record Your Greeting: Speak clearly and record your temporary greeting.
  2. Press ‘#’: After you have finished recording your greeting, press the ‘#’ key.

 

Step 5: Save Your Greeting

 

  1. Follow Prompts: Listen to the prompts that follow. They will allow you to:
    • Listen to your recorded greeting.
    • Save the greeting if you are satisfied with it.
    • Re-record if you need to make changes.

  • Be Clear and Concise: Ensure your message is clear and to the point.
  • Provide Key Information: Mention your name and any relevant information, such as expected response time or alternative contact methods if applicable.

If you are using a Fritzbox modem with your Ultimate Broadband (UBB) broadband connection, then the process differs slightly. Follow these steps:
